cracked open my modem the other day and connected 2 small wires to the circuitboard (if u look really carefully, u will see an antenna socket)in this picture, the wire ends are connected to the iron part of the bed (scraped off the paint..duuh)
some say its useless
...at least it psychologically improves the connection speed.... =)

good to hear that it also worked for others...but remember, doin this may void ur warranty...
thats y i didnt weld the wires onto the circuitboard, i just touched them to their respective places.
ps, the glossy part with 'vodafone' stamped on is quite brittle, so be careful when opening. the glue that holds its in place isnt that strong.

i hav one good idea on improving the connection speed which works well.
..that is going to celcom centre n upgrading your account to the highest speed package. Seriously it works well. If it doesnt work u might want to issue them a summon n u can do that!

the whole point of hacking and modding things is to get to use it to its optimum level WITHOUT spending MORE money.....haha
but still, celcom have it so-called-fair usage policy, which limit the download volume to 5GB per month. 5GB only get u plenty of movies and songs, but still not enough. we need at least 10GB. hacking and modding it wont change that. but after all, some people call hacking is life skill. Cool eh?
